Privacy
Your microphone audio stays on your device.
tuner.love uses privacy-minimized, first-party usage analytics so the product owner can understand which tuners work well and how visitors discover the site.
What is measured
- Anonymous browser-tab sessions and page views.
- The selected instrument, tuning, calibration and Free or Auto mode.
- Whether microphone tuning starts and whether a string or note is confirmed in tune.
- Referring website hostname, campaign tags, landing page, language, country and coarse device/browser type.
- The country code is derived locally on the tuner.love server when an event arrives; the raw address is discarded.
- Approximate active time on the site.
What is never collected
- Microphone audio, recordings, detected frequencies or a replay of your sound.
- Your name, email address, account details or advertising profile.
- Your raw IP address or a persistent cross-site identifier.
Storage and control
The anonymous session identifier exists only for the current browser tab. Detailed analytics are stored on the tuner.love server for up to 365 days. When the owner signs in, tuner.love keeps a keyed, one-way network marker only to exclude owner traffic from analytics; the raw address is not stored or shown. Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, ?analytics=off and demo pages disable collection.
